ABC delivers T2145 to Windstar Lines

Carroll, Iowa-based Windstar Lines took delivery of a 2013 Van Hool T2145 powered by a Cummins ISX engine and B500 Allison from ABC Companies.

The coach features Alcoa Durabright wheels, chrome mirrors and an ASA back up camera. Like the rest of Windstar’s fleet of luxury coaches, it has a multi-monitor DVD system, Hi-Fi Audio and CD player, and a full fabric interior.

With additional locations in Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, and Des Moines, Iowa; Lincoln, Neb.; and Rochelle, Ill., Windstar has now grown to 57 coaches, offering luxury tours, convention planning and charter service in Iowa and Illinois as well as Omaha and portions of Nebraska.

Chinatown bus passengers attack driver

State police said the driver did not speak or understand English and did not know he was supposed to stop in Richmond, Va. The driver was reportedly dragged out of his chair, while the bus was swerving in and out of lanes for a half mile or so.

ABA names new VP, Government Affairs

Suzanne Te Beau Rohde will succeed ABA's sr. VP, Government Affairs and Policy, Clyde Hart, who is retiring after 14 years.
