Tour bus company, woman's family reach $6.75M settlement

CHICAGO — The family of a woman who was struck and killed by a tour bus in 2011 reached a $6.75 million settlement with the tour bus company, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Video surveillance images showed that Justyna Palka was walking in the crosswalk with a green light when the driver made a right turn and ran her over, according to her family's lawyers. The driver tested positive for cocaine following the incident and was wanted in two child-sex cases. For the full story, click here.
