RICHMOND, Va. — A misunderstanding between a non-English speaking Chinatown bus driver and passengers headed to North Carolina to New York, turned into a brawl after the bus didn’t stop in Richmond, CBS6 reported.
State police said the driver did not speak or understand English and did not know he was supposed to stop in Richmond. The driver was reportedly dragged out of his chair, while the bus was swerving in and out of lanes for a half mile or so.
The bus driver showed signs of struggle but chose not to press charges against any passengers. He was ticketed for driving a bus without a having a commercial driver’s license. For the full story, click here.
