GILLESPIE, Ill. — The State Journal-Register reports that Cavallo Bus Lines Inc. ceased operations after more than 75 years in business.

The company, which also had outposts in Indianapolis and Springfield, Mo., opened for business in 1942 by transporting workers to a World War II munitions factory.
