Universal Coach Line, one of Canada’s largest private motorcoach operators, views the zero-emission, 45-foot, 52-passenger coach as a game changer for its Vancouver airport, commuter, and shuttle service routes.
This quarter the participating manufacturers sold 260 new and 92 pre-owned coaches, for a total of 352 motorcoaches.
The in-depth, five-day training program featured a mix of demonstrations, hands-on activities, classroom sessions, factory and assembly line tours, and Q&As.
Each year, CVSA highlights certain aspects of the roadside inspection. This year, inspectors will focus on anti-lock braking systems and cargo securement to emphasize the importance of those aspects of vehicle safety.
The effort, taking place May 7 to 13, will raise awareness and share actionable information on improving roadway safety, directly supporting the Department’s National Roadway Safety Strategy’s goal of zero roadway fatalities.
