OCTA unveils transit simulator to aid disabled riders

One of only four nationwide, the new transit simulator includes a 40-foot OCTA bus, sidewalks, wheelchair-accessible curbs, crosswalk and operating traffic signals to fully replicate a bus stop. The facility will be used to determine eligibility for the agency's paratransit system.

Denver RTD receives unsolicited FasTracks proposal

The proposal was submitted by Kiewit Infrastructure Co., which led the design-build construction team on the Transportation Expansion project – a joint highway/light rail project of RTD and the Colorado Department of Transportation. Kiewit is also currently constructing the transit improvements at Denver Union Station.
