B.C. University to require transit pass

Beginning in September, a universal bus pass will be mandatory for all full-time Royal Roads University students. A recent Students’ Society referendum vote on buying into the pass received support from 83 percent of students.

FTA makes $15M available for rural tribal transportation

New contract does away with the former agreement, under which a $35,000 annual lump-sum payment — underwritten by student fees and a portion of University parking fees — was paid to Metro in exchange for unlimited bus rides for students, faculty and staff.
