The one-story, 10,000 square foot bus terminal features an indoor waiting area, ticketing offices, a cafeteria, restrooms, nine bus bays, parking, and a customer drop off area on Stuart Street.
Overall, 116 members from both organizations met with more than 150 congressional offices.
The project will break ground this year, with service expected to begin in March 2023.
Award will be presented with the honor for its achievements in safety, security, and operations in May at the APTA Bus and Paratransit Conference in Tampa, Fla.
