FTA issues civil rights, environmental justice guidance

Will assist grant recipients in complying with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color or national origin, as well as guidance on incorporating environmental justice principles into transportation planning and decision-making.

Ind.’s CIRTA launches new commuter shuttle

The Plainfield Connector will provide transportation to worksites in industrial parks and the Metropolis mall in Plainfield, Ind. The shuttle is a three-year demonstration project being funded through a Congestion Mitigation Air Quality grant.
