Combining respective expertise with Lilee Systems in advanced communications systems and rail signaling technologies, the two companies have developed an Interoperable Train Control solution that for the first time offers the industry a Wayside Interface Unit with Systems Management Agent functionality.

The joint venture will fit out the approximately 13 miles of twin tunnels that will stretch under London with the track and power equipment necessary for Crossrail trains to operate from 2018.

Construction of the OLRT system project will start in the next few months and the system is expected to enter full service in spring of 2018.

Alstom has supplied a total of 66 Citadis trams for Dublin in two different sizes. The company also extended 26 of the original trams with the addition of an extra car.

Will execute just under 90% of the contract and supply the major part of the metro trains. The bogies will be supplied by CAF Brazil.

Intended for line 14 of the Paris metro as part of the northbound extension of the line to Mairie de Saint-Ouen station. Deliveries will begin in 2014 and end in 2015.

Throughout the week, Alstom will be presenting its latest urban, sub-urban, regional, main line and freight trains, including solutions and services, through an impressive model which will be displayed at Alstom Booth #101, Hall 3.2.

The new Coradia Nordic X61 regional trains will replace older trains on the Östgöta railway network. Delivery is planned for early 2015.

On successful delivery of the fully working prototype phase, in 2013, focus will move to the national rollout of the system.

The agreement will be finalized after completion of legal procedures, information processes and approval of the competent authorities.
