Toured the American Seating transportation plant, which makes bus and rail seats, and discussed with workers company leadership; local, regional and statewide dignitaries; and the Obama administration's plan to help businesses bring manufacturing jobs back to America by eliminating incentives to ship jobs overseas and offering tax credits for insourcing.

Operation hopes to acquire five more in order to complete a fleet of motorcoaches with Premier seats in the next 18 to 24 months.

MVTA won American Seating's "Ticket to Ride" promotion at the APTA Exposition in October 2008 and previously used some of the money for a promotion in connection with "Read and Ride Day" at the Minnesota State Fair.
