Triangle Transit and GoTriangle have been honored with three national transit awards for the video “#flipfortransit.” “#flipfortransit” was released in September 2012, after seeing four athletes that used free running and parkour on the North Carolina State University campus. They were filmed using public transit to get around Chapel Hill, Durham and Raleigh.

TriMet honors bus driver for 30 years of stellar service

Rolynd Puckett, who has been a TriMet bus operator for 38 years, was awarded the distinction of Gold Master Operator as part of the agency’s Master Operator Program. The agency’s Master Operator Program recognizes bus and rail operators who achieve overall excellence in their duties as professional drivers.

Its zero-emission fuel cell buses achieve nearly double the fuel economy of conventional buses.
