FRA awards $336M for next-generation trains

Enables California, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan and Missouri to purchase next-generation, American-made trains. Trains will be designed to travel more than 110 mph along intercity passenger corridors.

Bombardier to equip Florida’s SunRail project

The Florida Department of Transportation ordered 14 BiLevel railcars. The contract is valued at approximately $41 million. Deliveries are planned between May and August 2013.
