Alleged L.A. bus driver shooter could get death penalty

Bus passenger Anthony Craig Chambers has been charged with special circumstances murder and could face the death penalty if convicted. California law allows prosecutors to seek the death penalty when someone is convicted of lying in wait and murdering a transportation worker.

D.C. Metro bus drivers voice safety concerns

After three incidents in the last two weeks where operators were attacked on their routes, drivers want more transit police officers on buses. Drivers also complained of broken surveillance cameras and radios.
