Cost of Calgary monthly passes will change from $55 to $95 per year. The city council also expanded the number of people who can qualify for low-income transit passes.

The West LRT line will expand service to more than 80,000 residents in southwest Calgary and involves an approximately five-mile light rail extension of Calgary’s C-Train LRT System, as well as six stations and two park and ride lots.
