Boston to Cape Cod rail service to be reinstated

The service will be available in 2013 after being shut down two decades ago. Currently, the only mass transit option between Boston and Cape Cod is buses.

MV begins Cape Cod RTA management contract

MV is based out of CCRTA’s current operations and maintenance facility in South Dennis, Mass., and provides service to all of Cape Cod. The fleet consists of nearly 100 vehicles and completes approximately 540,000 trips per year.

MCI delivers to Conn., Mass.

Post Road Stages in South Windsor, Conn. received two new D4505s and the Massachusetts-based Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority received two new new wheelchair lift-equipped 40-foot MCI Commuter Coaches.
