Utilizes the new Facebook Timeline interface to share photos and ideas for places future charter bus passengers can explore on their travels. On Twitter, Monsey Tours interacts with over 470 followers by asking questions like, “What type of music do you like to listen to on long trips?” and sharing ideas for making road trips more fun.

MCI delivers to Montreal, Los Angeles

Groupe Orléans Express took five new and six pre-owned J4500 coaches, and equipped them with bike racks. Eight of the coaches also feature wheelchair lifts. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department added three new MCI purpose-built 2011 Inmate Security Transportation Vehicles to its fleet.

Charters spared from buying apportioned license plates

Letters were sent urging members to vote against the proposal citing the negative impact to travel and tourism and the higher costs that would have to be endured by motorcoach operators to obtain apportioned license plates.

Visalia, Calif.-based Classic Charter’s new coach is equipped with a Detroit Diesel engine and Allison transmission, and features 110-volt outlets and a state-of-the-art entertainment system with 15-inch video monitors.

Both coaches are powered by Cummins ISM 450 HP engines coupled to Allison Gen IV automatic transmissions, and are equipped with multi-monitor DVD systems, and reclining seats with foot rests and seat belts.
