The engine, which is equipped with high-efficiency water, fuel and lube pump systems, meets both the EPA 2013 regulations — which require near-zero emissions of NOx — and the new greenhouse gas and fuel-efficiency rules that will take effect in 2014.

Cummins Turbo to consolidate production in S.C.

Under the announced plan, Cummins will phase out its turbocharger manufacturing operation at Leeds Avenue while at the same time expanding operations at its facility in the Palmetto Industrial Park in Ladson, which it opened in 2006.
