Coaches are equipped with a Cummins ISL 345 engine, Allison B500 transmission and three-point seat belts.

When its ambitious plan is completed, the Anchorage-based company will have more than 50 Prevosts in its stable of 75 motorcoaches and support vehicles.

In the last two years, New Flyer has delivered 385 low-floor 40-foot CNG buses and recently built 90 40-foot Xcelsior clean diesel buses — both fleets currently operating in New York. The new Coradia Nordic X61 regional trains will replace older trains on the Östgöta railway network. Delivery is planned for early 2015.

Taylor, Texas-based Clark Travel recently took delivery of 10 new MCI J4500 coaches, while the Bluffton, S.C.-based Lowcountry Regional Transportation Authority took delivery a new Commuter Coach.

The City of Seneca recently signed an agreement with Proterra, the leading provider in zero-emission commercial transit solutions, to deliver four new EcoRide transit buses and two charging stations.

The order comes from a contract awarded to Dynamic Specialty Vehicles, which includes an extension clause if BC Transit chooses to extend the contract on a yearly basis.

The coaches are equipped with leather seats, Wi-FI, REI audio/video system, 110-volt plug outlets, destination signs, GPS and badge readers.

The coaches come equipped with fuel-efficient Cummins engines featuring EPA-mandated lower-emission, clean-diesel technology.
