SEPTA sells retired bus to first responders for $1

Haverford Township’s Department of Emergency Services will use the bus to help cool and monitor firefighters’ vital signs to prevent exhaustion and heart problems.

D.C. Metro donating buses to transport homeless

Two 1994 buses will be used to transport people who are homeless from designated pick-up stops to shelters. Will also be utilized for a “Hypothermia Watch Partner Program.”
