Stanford staff paid not to drive

The university instead encourages faculty to take advantage of a number of other programs including free regional train and bus passes, a free shuttle to the university and free hours in an auto-sharing program such as Zipcar.

Hampton Roads ends free cars, health insurance

Nineteen employees, including several vice presidents, have been getting the perk. The employees who received no-premium health insurance plans will now pay the same amount as other HRT employees.
