GO Tracker is a Web tool that provides real-time GO Train departure information right in the palm of the customer's hand. On their mobile device or computer, passengers can view their estimated train departure times and platform information on GO’s website.

More than 1,000 new parking spaces were added to the Oakville GO Station to provide better access to public transit for the more than 5,500 commuters who use the station each day. The project created 400 jobs.

The Commuter Coaches feature 57 comfortable forward-facing seats by Amaya, a Braun wheelchair lift, overhead airflow controls, LED interior lighting including reading lights, and other comforts designed to attract suburban and other distance commuters.

The commuter rail system's smart card software will have to be modified to process refunds related to the policy, and there will have to be a protocol for identifying and serving eligible customers.

A possible Canadian Pacific strike would have impacted passenger trains operated by Go Transit, West Coast Express and AMT along CP-owned lines in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal.
