A long-time policy allowing rail operators to use their discretion in how long they waited at stations for commuters to board appeared to have been scrapped this week due to a memo issued by a Chicago Transit Authority GM.

Results from the second quarter of 2011 show that Access Services lowered the number of claims by 50.2 percent compared to the baseline period, during which in-vehicle recording equipment was calibrated and drivers and supervisors were trained.
