Alstom to overhaul Md. MTA light rail vehicles

Baltimore vehicles are scheduled to arrive, beginning in October 2013, at Alstom’s Hornell, N.Y., facility where the refurbishment will be executed. The project will add about 15 years to the lifespan of the trains.

Chicago Transit to overhaul 60% of bus fleet

The board has awarded contracts to Cummins NPower LLC and New Flyer Industries Canada ULC to perform turnkey overhauls, which include supporting labor and the furnishing, installation and warranty of all supplies and materials associated with the project.
