Company redesigned the model for 2013, giving it a taller look and stylish LED headlights. It also features more than 30 improvements, including brushless motors and an optimized, more fuel-efficient powertrain that can achieve nine miles per gallon at highways speeds.

Under the new structure led by Patrick Scully, there will be one key new coach sales contact representing MCI and Setra brands to both private and public sector customers.

The move follows the recent acquisition of the U.S. and Canadian distribution rights for Setra motorcoaches from Daimler Buses, where Scully was formerly chief commercial officer.

This marks the third consecutive order placed by CNYTRA. In 2009, 18 Orion VII CNG buses were delivered to Syracuse, N.Y.

Company recently enhanced its Customer Assistance Network (CAN) technical support hotline by ensuring that it has staff answering the toll-free line 24-hours, seven days a week to assist both Setra and Sprinter customers.

Notable successes included a 12 percent increase in pre-owned motorcoach sales compared to the previous year, Sprinter Shuttle sales doubling 2007’s numbers and substantial growth from its Orlando Metro Service Center.
