The system, which provides real-time information about the status of approaching trains on car radios, is now integrated with commuter rail's Passenger Train Information System, a computerized system that links real-time information from approaching trains to LED monitors at stations.

School also has approval to launch year-round, weekday service to Rochester with stops in Barrington and Lee. The bulk of the money for both projects will come from the federal transportation department.
