Between 2007 and 2012, OSHA received more than 900 whistleblower complaints under the FRSA. Almost 63% involved an allegation that a worker was retaliated against for reporting an on-the-job injury.

Fired Calif. transit workers' retaliation claim heads to court

Three San Joaquin Regional Transit District employees claim they were fired in 2007 for assisting in a civil grand jury investigation of the transit district. The agency said it was due to budget problems.
