Tech Lights, the supplier’s new series of LED shop lights, comes with magnetic mounting clips. Three options are available: the two-post lift kit, the four-post lift kit, and the hand-held single shop light.

The new standard updates its predecessor, ANSI/ALI ALCTV-2006. To be ALI Certified, a lift must be third-party tested by an independent testing lab to verify that it meets the current standards.

The new AR18 is designed to adapt to meet the needs of independent repair shops and mixed fleets, among others. The lift features two stainless steel turning radius gauges for use when performing alignments and is compatible with all brands and types of alignment instrumentation, according to the supplier.

The free web seminar, “Lifting Your Vehicles Correctly and Safely,” will be presented by SCHOOL BUS FLEET, METRO Magazine, and Rotary Lift on June 20 at 1 p.m. EDT. Topics to be discussed will include proper methodology for lifting every type of heavy-duty bus or truck and how to keep lifts in tip-top shape through inspection and maintenance.

The order includes 11 60,000-lb. capacity two-piston models and one three-piston version rated at 90,000 lbs. Peterson Hydraulics will also lay an epoxy-coated floor with the new lifts.

Over the next 18 months, Peterson Hydraulics will install the MOD30 lifts in the maintenance garage and the parallelogram lift in the wash bay. The MOD30s will replace the facility’s original lifts from 1974.
