San Francisco Muni crime down 30%

The reduction of crime onboard Muni follows the partnership announced by Mayor Edwin M. Lee, the SFMTA and the SFPD in November of last year to deploy more officers on the system to increase overall security.

San Francisco to add 50 New Flyer hybrid buses

The new vehicles will be added to the current fleet of buses in service and replace 50 of its 2000/2001 Neoplan diesel buses, which have reached or exceeded their useful service life of 12 years.
