BYD bus completes Altoona Testing

The 40-foot BYD Electric Bus is just the first of three different size options that will be offered to the U.S. for 2014/2015 deliveries. Next at Altoona will be the 60-foot articulated BYD all-electric bus.

BYD's first Calif.-built all-electric bus unveiled

BYD’s new plant has added 60 new jobs for American workers, with the company expecting to increase the number of new jobs created to 100 by the end of the year, while adding 200 more by the end of next year.
