Under the New Freedom Taxi Voucher Program, the Federal New Freedom Grant funds the Taxi Voucher Program, which recently received approval for a two-year extension. The Taxi Voucher Smart Card will replace current paper coupon books.

SunLine received $189,000 from the Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Program to fund the upgrades.

Plans for the new facility may include an expansion of its existing solar and renewable energy sources, using green construction materials.
