Council drums up support for Minneapolis light rail

The Minneapolis Building and Construction Trades Council called hundreds of community members about the Bottineau Transitway project and found that 57% of survey participants would support light rail.

9 of 10 would recommend DART

The survey of more than 3,700 customers was conducted in September both in person and online. It has a margin of error of +/- 1.6%. The survey also reported an 87% general satisfaction compared to 89% in 2010.

L.A. Metro to survey bicyclists

The bicycle counts and surveys will be conducted at 20 locations throughout the Metro Rail system. Locations will not be disclosed in advance in order to preserve survey integrity.

BART receives public input on next police chief

Respondents were asked to rate 14 personal characteristics or attributes desired in a new chief. Most of the qualities received high ratings; the top two were "leadership" and "ethics and transparency."
