Features include locations of bus routes and rail lines close to riders’ locations, information on scheduled and real time bus and rail arrivals, and suggestions for convenient trip routes based on arrival time, transfers and/or walking distance.

The biggest change to the website is the expanded TripPlanner utility. Without even leaving the homepage, MTA customers now can get access to features that have proven popular but have not been accessible from the homepage.

Combines transit, biking and walking in a single itinerary, customizes routes by travel mode and options such as quickest, flattest and most bike-friendly, and shows car-share locations.

goroo version 2.0 includes enhanced site navigation to provide clearer access points to next train/bus, schedules and travel alerts; an improved home page to better communicate the site’s multi-modal capabilities; and improved itineraries to simplify trip directions.

Gives users bus schedules by bus stop, Metrorail train arrival times, and fare information, as well as Google trip planning.

Riders can use the new site to plan trips across the region on Sound Transit and partner agency buses and trains; look up bus and Sounder schedules; locate Sound Transit parking facilities and use GPS technology to enter start and end points in the trip planner.

Cyclopath, created by the University of Minnesota's Computer Science and Engineering Department, received funding from the Minnesota DOT to expand statewide and add Metro Transit route information.

The redesigned site includes a simpler presentation of DART's online trip planner, Google trip planner, real-time arrival information, stop locator, rider alerts, service advisories and social media.
