The Green Highway Award, established in 2008 and sponsored by Motor Coach Industries, recognizes companies that demonstrate organizational leadership in reducing carbon emissions. The award was presented to Coach USA because of its dedication to fuel conservation and idling reduction policies, recycling programs and facilities management.
The active system improves handling safety and stability and is based on the electronic ABS advanced anti-lock braking system, which optimizes braking force. It is now standard on all S 417 and S 407 vehicles.
