Valley Metro releases new ‘Notes’ music video

“ValleyMetro.org” is an upbeat song by indie, funk rock band Black Carl, of Tempe. The song demonstrates the ease of using Valley Metro’s website, ValleyMetro.org, to navigate the public transit system. The song is brought to life with an animated music video that portrays the adventures of a princess traveling to new exciting places by way of light rail demonstrating the practicality of the website.

Phoenix bands record songs for Valley Metro riders

Lyrics describe different aspects of using the Valley Metro system, such as how to buy fare, safety near train tracks and buses, or how one fare pass can be used on both bus and light rail. The 11 topics were selected based on common passenger questions at Valley Metro’s customer service line and from the top questions city transit departments receive.
