Deputy Federal Railroad Administrator Karen Rae was selected by the Women’s Transportation Seminar for her 35 years of knowledge and expertise, and her decades of leadership building transit and passenger rail systems across the country.

The joint initiative will kick off at the Women’s Transportation Seminar annual awards dinner on May 18 in San Francisco. It will introduce girls ages 13 to 18 to a variety of transportation careers through hands‐on interactive activities and mentoring programs.

Dave Boggs was named the 2010 Womens’ Transportation Seminar Metropolitan Phoenix Chapter Member of the Year at the annual awards and scholarship ceremony. For more than nine years, Boggs has supported the chapter and participated in the mentorship program.
