NEW YORK CITY — The Metropolitan Transportation Authority has fired a whole class of new conductors after allegations someone got a copy of a Metro-North Railroad safety test and passed it around, USA Today reported.

The scandal, first reported by the New York Daily News, involved someone using a smartphone to photograph the test on physical characteristics of the railroad and sharing it with the others, the paper reported.
