West Bloomfield Township, Mich. — A Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART) bus driver fell asleep at the wheel causing a chain of accidents that seriously injured two people, reported The Detroit News.

The bus went over the center of the road and hit an eastbound vehicle. The bus then hit the rear of a westbound vehicle that then hit another eastbound vehicle. The bus hit four more vehicles before coming to a rest at a guardrail, police said. Neither drugs or alcohol are a factor in the crash. For the full story, click here.
