HOBOKEN, N.J.— NJ Advance Media compiled a list of five different types of passengers who cheat NJ TRANSIT’s “pseudo honor system” light rail ticketing policy.

Enforcement officers periodically check passengers' tickets, but are not at every station every day. For some, their absence is an invitation for some passengers not to buy a ticket. NJ TRANSIT says most riders use the system as intended and pay the fare. For the full story, click here.
