KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Crews with the Kansas City streetcar will begin testing out the route's overhead wires Wednesday, KSHB reported.

In the next few days, one test will make sure all the circuits feeding electricity to the wires are working properly and another will make sure the system can handle an overload. The 24,000 feet of wires will be tested throughout the week just before the first streetcar arrives Oct. 29. For the full story, click here.
