HONOLULU — “Unacceptable” personnel vacancies at Ansaldo Honolulu JV, the Hitachi-owned firm that has a $1.4 billion contract to create Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation’s railcars, has the agency concerned of a delay, reports AP.

Concerns over staffing shortages had initially surfaced in October. However, newly obtained letters show HART was still demanding that Ansaldo fill positions in September. For the full story, click here.
