FLORENCE, N.J. — NJ Advance Media reports that an NJ Transit light rail train in Burlington County caught fire Sunday night, causing delays in both directions of the River Line and forcing 40 passengers off the train and onto buses.

No one was hurt when the train caught fire in the engine compartment, with the cause still under investigation.

The train was removed from the tracks within two hours of the fire, but the mishap caused residual delays of 30 minutes for northbound trains and an hour southbound. For the full story, click here.
