NEW YORK — Following a two-month repair project at Penn Station, regular service returned Tuesday for thousands of NJ Transit, Long Island Rail Road and Amtrak commuters, CBS New York reports.
For LIRR riders, that means an end to a 20% reduction in service while NJ TRANSIT commuters on the Morris and Essex lines will now no longer have to transfer to PATH trains at Hoboken.
