Department of Transportation’s (DOT) new blog. “Fast Lane,” which can be found at http://fastlane.dot.gov, will be an online community for all those interested in the nation’s transportation system and its future.
"Fast Lane" contributors will include Secretary Peters, Deputy Secretary Thomas Barrett, administrators from the department’s operating agencies and other senior officials. The site will also welcome guest bloggers from government, industry and the transportation community.
The blog will also feature DOT breaking news, announcements and be an open forum for visitors to submit comments, contribute ideas and bring the department’s attention to innovative transportation activities in their communities.
