Hatch Mott MacDonald has acquired J.B. Trimble Inc., a 40-year-old engineering firm headquartered in Atlanta.
J.B. Trimble is best known for its expertise in bridge engineering, inspection and rehabilitation, and provides its clients with services in highway engineering, stormwater management, water and sewer engineering, and structural engineering.
The acquisition of J.B. Trimble will strengthen Hatch Mott MacDonald’s expanding highway and bridge practice, providing important niche skills such as the use of carbon fiber for concrete reinforcement in bridge rehabilitation projects.
