MV Transportation's Public Transportation division won a contract to provide shuttle services for Abbott Park, Ill.-based Abbott Laboratories.
Under the terms of the five-year contract, MV will begin providing service on January 1, 2009 and be eligible for two additional one-year contract extensions upon the contract’s conclusion date of December 31, 2014.
Additionally, MV will implement several features to increase safety, improve maintenance and increase on-time performance, such as DriveCams, FleetFocus maintenance management software and its own real-time monitoring system.
