Topeka Transit loses $215K in fuel gamble

TOPEKA, Kan. — Last July, the Topeka Metropolitan Transit Authority signed a diesel fuel contract, locking it into paying $4.35 per gallon for 10 months. Soon after the contract took effect, oil prices plunged. For the full story, click here.
