MCI delivers J4500s, expands Webinar offerings

Motor Coach Industries (MCI) delivered two 2009 J4500 coaches to Schenectady, N.Y.-based Wade Tours, bringing the operator's J4500 fleet to 18 and its total fleet to 22 coaches.

Wade’s latest come equipped with clean-diesel technology featuring a Detroit Diesel engine and Allison transmission. The 2009 J4500s also include advanced performance features, such as wide-ride suspension; electronic stability control; and host of passenger amenities, including a state-of-the-art entertainment system with six 15-inch video monitors.

The company also announced that following favorable responses to its Webinar training, MCI is adding new topics and repeating its most popular seminars during the spring and summer semester.

Courses being added will cover instruction on proper wheel bearing and hub maintenance, the benefits of after-market retrofit kits, and branding as a marketing model to win and keep customers.

MCI's series of online Webinars are free and offer a live, interactive medium for learning, enabling a better understanding of coaches, technological advances, proper maintenance practices and ways to improve bottomline performance.

Since launching its Webinar series last year, MCI has trained about 500 industry personnel.  All Webinars are held on Wednesdays at 2 p.m. CST. Registration is required.

A schedule is available at its Website, www.mcicoach.com.
