MCI delivers J4500s, D4505s

MCI delivered 12 coaches - seven J4500s and five D4505s - with wheelchair lifts and three-point seatbelts to Wilkes-Barre, Pa.-based Martz Trailways.

The new Martz coaches come equipped with several technological advances to improve passenger and driver safety, including electronic stability control, Smartwave tire pressure monitoring, DriveCam and GPS systems. The delivery follows the company's purchase of 30 MCI coaches last year.

MCI also delivered a new J4500 to Cedar Valley World Travel of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Cedar's new coach comes equipped with a clean-diesel Cummins engine with an Allison transmission and features WiFi Internet access, power outlets, and motion-satellite television and radio. The company will take delivery of another J4500 in August.
