Nova Bus sponsors 2 COMTO scholarships

Nova Bus and the Philadelphia chapter of the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) partnered to award two $2,500 scholarships to deserving students.

COMTO is a nationwide organization dedicated to ensuring maximum participation of minority individuals, businesses and communities in all aspects of the transportation industry. Among its initiatives, it offers scholarships to students pursuing careers in transportation.

This year's scholarships will go to Walter Scott-Williams, a Morehouse College junior majoring in mechanical engineering, and Summer Tatum, who has overcome tremendous personal adversity in pursuing her higher education and will transfer to Drexel University in the fall to study computer graphics.

Both scholarship winners were selected because they combine high academic performance with significant community involvement.
